In addition, things such as lifting weights in the late evening or eating a big meal after 8 PM can make it harder to wake up early in the morning because they decrease your ability to fall asleep before 10 PM.

This might sound super annoying and obvious, however, many people are not able to go to bed before 10 PM. And usually they create pointless excuses for that.

Conversely, you should have a desire to fall asleep earlier if your goals is to wake up earlier, right?

Please note that this does not mean that you are lying in the bed and scrolling phone, you could read a book, but don’t touch your phone an hour before bedtime.

When you have a meeting or a task you have to attend the next day, waking up earlier becomes easier for a couple of reasons:

1) Waking up early forces you to go to bed early and make smart decisions in the evening.

2) You can’t skip the meeting, which in turn forces you to wake up early. 

As you can see, it becomes a cycle of actions, where they forces each other. 

Setting up an important task can be something such as workout or completing the most important task of the day before 9 AM. 

Your activity shouldn’t necessarily be related to work or your business. 


3. Tempt yourself in the bed early

Getting to bed early is easy when there is some type of a “bait” that makes the process more satisfying. 

For me, it is reading self-improvement books, for someone else it could be getting quality sleep. 

Habits become easy when you make previous action or habit satisfying and related to it. In my case, reading a book and then falling asleep early. 

Tempting yourself to the bed early is one of the most simplest ways for getting used to waking up early in the morning.


4. Limit screen time in the evening

Limiting your screen time in the evening will help you to wake up early because when you spend time on something else than social media or TV, you are much likely to get in bed earlier.

Therefore, you’ll be able to get quality sleep and focus on upcoming day.

Learning to limit screen time is very beneficial habit, as you will find it much better to spend time doing something else. 

Usually, we get lost in the ocean of social media news, reels and videos that makes us stay up late instead of focusing on proper sleeping habits.

5. Motivate yourself with a satisfying action or goal

However, writing a to-do list can help you drastically to wake up earlier BECAUSE you already know what your day consists of and what needs to be completed.

To get more specific, you can plan which tasks you should complete during the morning. This helps you to get up early if you want to get everything done before lunchtime.

Strong morning routine works as a motivation. In my experience, I enjoy my mornings so much that I can’t wait for the next day to come. 

That’s why I am also able to fall asleep on time and wake up early.

Creating a strong morning might not sound that it could be straightly related to waking up early, but there is some connection for sure. Obviously, the way you look at this also affects opinions.

Overall, creating a strong and enjoyable morning routine is a must not only for waking up early but establishing a healthy and powerful beginning for every day. 


8. Create a calming evening routine

This will help you drastically to enhance proper sleeping habits and most importantly, wake up early. 

Having an evening routine sounds very rare and rough but it can be very powerful if your goals is to wake up early. 

A calming evening routine could include warm shower, stretching and reading for example. You have play around with it and find out what works best for you.

Generally, if you want to wake up early and focus deeply your next morning, creating a calming evening routine can be a masculine choice. 

After mastering it and performing it consistently, you don’t have to deal with the question “how to wake up early in the morning”.

Personally, I don’t like sleeping past 9 AM because I feel I am losing so much momentum of the day.
